The British Beverage Company (known as BBC) has quickly become the new hot-spot to see and be seen in Uptown. BBC will host Children's Medical Center's, "The One" Society, for its 4th Annual Membership Launch Party. Members are free, guests are a $10 donation at the door. Your donation is waived if you sign up to be a member of "The One" Society for 2013.

The One Society will again participate in the Red Balloon Run & Ride this fall. Held October 20 on Children's Medical Center's Legacy campus, the event boasts a 5k & 1k run/walk, 30k & 100k cycling rally, in addition to a full infield of family friendly activities.

Children’s Medical Center of Dallas isn’t located in Preston Hollow, but a new organization for young professionals is attracting lots of Ursuline, Jesuit, Hockaday, ESD and other North Dallas private school grads as it fosters young leaders and supports Dallas’ not-for-profit children’s hospital.

It's official: St. Ann Restaurant has quickly become the It-spot to see and be seen. My calendar this month alone has been dappled with several fund-raising fêtes and happy hours there. Last Thursday, it was the vibrant members of The One Society — a new young professionals group benefitting Children's Medical Center — that took over St. Ann's chic upstairs event space for its 2011 Membership Launch Party.

The One Society is excited to announce our second full year of operation in 2011. The new events calendar has just been published, and will be available on the website soon. We hope to see you at our membership launch on Thursday, Jan 24 at St. Ann Restaurant. Our February Happy Hour will be Wed, Feb., 16 at Javier’s from 5:30 to 8:00.
